Play Toys has been around for 10 years! Founded in 2009, the need for exceptional toys of unquestionable quality and safety that would give years of play value was identified. The first store was opened in Cape Town in 2009. This store quickly became known as the toy shopping destination. 

Today Play Toys is South Africa's earth friendly toy store with 5 physical stores stocking the world's leading brands. We have sourced toys and activities of the best quality, safety and play value with their own stories intended to delight and develop the minds and values of our children. Of paramount importance to us is that our toys are made from materials sourced from sustainable forests or harvested and recycled from plastics recovered from our oceans and used milk cartons.
